Holiday Cards! Take One!

So here is my first attempt at Christmas Cards! I did these by hand, so the lines aren't perfectly straight...and that was before my sweet sweet andrew went to buy me the cricut!! YES I NOW HAVE THE CRICUT! So more crafts will be coming soon!!! <3

I want one! I *think* I've prett much convinced Andrew to get me one.. I made all of the Christmas cards for our family last night, and kept the oh I wish this could be a straighter line, oh I can't cut a perfect circle.. And I think he caught the hint ;) now to convince him to head to Joanns tonight... Any ideas?

Prematurity Awareness Month!!

November is Prematurity Awareness Month! This subject is very close to my heart as my son, Liam, was born at 35 weeks, and spent a week in the NICU before coming home. Memorial Hermann NICU staff was so incredibly amazing! The nurses made his stay so much easier on Andrew and I. Anyways, please feel free to look at March of Dimes to see the statistics on Premature Births.

My First Attempt at Homemade Birthday Gifts!

My mom's birthday is this Saturday. In my attempts to "get crafty", I decided to do homemade gifts! I'm sure at this point my husband, Andrew, is asking himself HOW this is really saving him money after out few trips to the craft store... (honey, I promise it will in the long run.. ;)) So anyways, here is the Burlap Wreath, and two cards I made for my mom! She's not very tech savvy, so no chance of the surprise being ruined by her reading my blog ( love you mama!) ;)
